Total draining of all oil from the main oil tank using diaphragm pump and transfer to temporary container; Perform the following inspection, tests and record "as found data".

→Condition of lube oil, particle count, water content, viscosity & acidity level; Physical appearance of the main oil tank interior; Total volume of the tank; Remove sludge on the bottom surface of the tank. Gather & record the total weight of the sludge; Apply degreaser to totally remove dirt and oil on the internal surface of the main oil tank; Complete cleaning by wiping tank surface with lint-free cloth; Transfer excess oil from the temporary storage tank to used oil drums or maintain the 90% main oil tank volume of oil, Filling of new oil, approximately 10% of the total main oil tank volume, to the temporary storage tank; Purify the oil to cleanliness of NAS 8 standard and 0.1% or 1000 ppm moisture content prior to filling back to the main oil tank.
